About Kevin Rifenburg

As a young boy much of my idle time was spent drawing and coloring with my brother. It's funny and ironic that we both ended high school and headed for art school. Studying at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Bard College, and Lesley University College of Art and Design the fundamental principles of art were embedded in my head. My desire to create comes from within, as I am inspired by the things I grew up watching and listening too. I'm a nostalgic kind of guy who loves history. The colorful and amazing personalities that once played America's past-time, jazz music, John Wayne westerns , fly fishing, as well as the surrounding splendor of the Hudson Valley are constant thoughts that I always seem to envision in some kind of artistic form.
